Description
This d evice each contains an 8-bit serial-in, parallel-out shift register that feeds an 8-bit D-type storage register. The storage register has parallel 3-state o utputs. Separate clocks are provided fo r both the shift register and the stora ge register. The shift register has a d irect-overriding clear, serial input, a nd serial output pins for cascading. Bo th the shift register and storage regis ter clocks are positive-edge triggered. If the user wishes to connect both clo cks together, the shift register state will always be . |
